Dimitar Todorov has been appointed a member of the Executive Board of UniCredit Bank Serbia on September 8th 2021.
As of May 1st 2021, Dimitar Todorov took over the position of Head of Strategy and Finance Division (CFO) in UniCredit Bank Serbia. Dimitar is coming to Serbia from a position of Chief Financial Officer and member of the Management Board of UniCredit Consumer Financing in Bulgaria where he was responsible for accounting, planning and controlling, as well as loan administration. Dimitar has started his career in 1998 as reporting specialist in Eurobank PLC, Bulgaria. In 2001 he joined Deloitte and Touche as senior auditor with special focus on banks and financial institutions. He has been leading audit teams responsible for the audit of Bank Biochim, which he subsequently joined in 2003 on the position of Head of Accounting and Finance Division after it became part of HVB Group.
In 2007 Dimitar played an important role in triple legal and IT merger which shaped the biggest bank in Bulgaria UniCredit Bulbank and after merger completion he headed Accounting and Regulatory Reporting Department until 2015. In parallel for the period 2007-2018 Dimitar was General Manager of UniCredit Fleet Management, a separate entity providing fleet management services to UniCredit companies in Bulgaria.
Dimitar holds a Master in Accounting from University of National and World Economy, Sofia.
